Project Summary

AKOLOS was developed to modernize patient flow management by integrating intelligent queue management, patient records, document tracking, and healthcare system interoperability into a single platform. The system simplifies patient registration, consultation routing, and service monitoring while reducing waiting times and improving operational efficiency.

One of AKOLOS's key capabilities is its Self-Service Queue Kiosk, where patients can independently select the type of healthcare service they require, choose their preferred physician (when available), indicate priority categories such as Senior Citizen or Regular, and receive an appropriate queue number. The platform also integrates with THEIA, LASO, PANACEA, and HYGEIA, allowing healthcare professionals to access patient disease surveillance records, laboratory results, medication history, and regulatory records from a unified interface. By combining queue automation with centralized patient information, AKOLOS delivers a faster, more coordinated, and patient-centered healthcare experience.
